A hydraulic cylinder needs stripping and assessing, a new rod turning, a gland milling, a manifold block welding on, then the whole thing rebuilding and checking. Sending that around three different suppliers is how a two-day repair becomes a three-week one.
We keep the lathe, the CNC mill, the welding bay and the fitting bench in the same building, with 60+ years of combined trade experience behind them. That is what lets us take a worn component, work out what it needs, make the parts and return it working — without the job leaving our workshop.

One thing worth being clear about: our CNC capability is milling. Turned work is done on manual centre lathes, which for one-offs and repairs is genuinely quicker and cheaper. If you need volume CNC turning, we will tell you rather than take the job on.
