Industries We Support

Who We Work For

Different sectors, the same underlying problem: a worn or broken component that needs to go back into service quickly and without a catalogue part number to order.

Our customers range from one-man groundworks outfits to maintenance teams on production sites, and the work has more in common than you might expect. In almost every case something has worn out or broken on equipment that is too valuable to scrap and too old to be well supported by whoever built it.

What changes between sectors is urgency, material and tolerance. A tipper ram needs to be back on the road tomorrow. A stainless assembly for a process plant needs clean welds and a sealing face machined after welding. Below is how that plays out across the industries we see most.

Plant, Construction & Groundworks

Excavator, loader and telehandler rams take a beating, and a leaking cylinder takes an expensive machine off hire. We strip, assess and rebuild plant cylinders quickly, and machine the parts we need rather than waiting on a catalogue.

  • Excavator and loader ram rebuilds
  • Pin boss and mount repair
  • Bucket and linkage bush replacement

Agriculture & Forestry

Farm equipment tends to be older, harder worked and further from a dealer than anything else we see. Much of it is out of production entirely, which makes remaking a part from the worn original the only realistic option.

  • Tipping and loader cylinder repair
  • Obsolete parts remade from sample
  • Seasonal turnaround around harvest

Manufacturing & Production

For a maintenance team, the problem is rarely knowing what is wrong — it is getting the part. We work as external machining capacity for production sites, making spares, fixtures and replacement components on short lead times.

  • Press and compactor cylinders
  • Machined spares and fixtures
  • Planned shutdown support

Process, Chemical & Stainless

Stainless work needs proper preparation, controlled heat input and clean welds, then machining after welding so flanges still seal. Our TIG work and machining sit in the same workshop, which is what makes that practical.

  • Stainless flanged and nozzle assemblies
  • Manifold and pipework fabrication
  • Post-weld machining of sealing faces

Transport, Tipper & Trailer

Tipping rams, body mounts and worn pivot points are bread-and-butter work. A trailer off the road earns nothing, so these jobs get prioritised and turned round as fast as the parts allow.

  • Tipping cylinder overhaul
  • Body mount and hinge repair
  • Pivot pin and bush replacement

Local Trade & Fabrication

Plenty of our work comes from other engineering businesses who need a specific operation done — a bore sleeved, a thread recut, a batch of flanges milled — without buying the machine to do it themselves.

  • Subcontract turning and milling
  • One-off components to drawing
  • Overflow capacity at short notice

Sector not listed? It probably still fits

The industry matters far less than the component. If it is metal, worn, and needs to work again, it is worth a phone call.
